Ride For Heroes 2009 March 28th
ATTENTION: ARRIVE EARLY! START/FINISH LINE AREA PARKING WILL BE LIMITED.
Due to construction at Aledo High School, we have lost a significant number of parking spots. We have made arrangements for additional parking but it may be a bit farther from registration than in previous years.. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY and give yourselves plenty of time for registering and getting to the start line.

The 7th annual Moritz Ride for Heroes will be March 28th, 2009. This year we will feature all new routes, including a beautifully scenic 23 mile route. And for the second year in a row we will provide a 100 mile route.
Start Times
100 mile Moritz Challenge begins at 7:45am
66 mile route begins at 7:45am
40 mile route begins at 8:00am
23 mile route begins at 8:00am
8 mile route begins at 8:00am
Basic Route Information
The routes will not be supported after 4:30pm. Please pick a route distance that you can complete comfortably within that time.
Please note that we will have cut off points or “Fire Lines”. If you do not reach the Fire Line by a certain time, you will be asked to take a shorter route back to the finish.
FIRE LINE 1: 1:00pm For 100 mile riders this will be at mile 55.5. Location: White Settlement Road and West Lake. Distance from here to finish will be 10.3 miles.
FIRE LINE 2: 3:00pm For 100 milers this will be at distance 76 miles. Location: White Settlement Road and Vista Lane. Distance from here to finish will be approximately 9.6 miles. Read the rest of this entry »
