Why We Do What We Do
The annual Moritz Chevrolet Ride for Heroes supports those organizations that protect and serve and make East Parker County a better place to live. Proceeds from the bike ride are dispersed to the following organizations:
Aledo Fire Department
Hudson Oaks Fire Department
Willow Park Fire/Rescue
Parker County Sheriff’s Reserve
Parker County Center of Hope
In addition, the Ride for Heroes bike ride supports various student clubs from Aledo High School and the Texas Bicycle Coalition (working for safer cycling in Texas).
Ride for Heroes 2010 Wrap Up
A huge thank you to all who came and supported our event! Although the 50% chance of rain showers became 100%, over 500 cyclists and our many volunteers endured the wet weather. We hope the cyclists liked the routes and what scenery could be seen between the rain drops!
